I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator graduating from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a passion for bringing out the creativity of others. Currently, my design passions lie in branding, editorial design, illustration, and social media. I have had the opportunity to freelance with a few non-profits to create logos and hand-lettered signage, as well as photo-editing for product shots. Most recently, I working to expand my social media knowledge through analytic research and visual development through branding.
My background as a fine artist has a huge influence on the work I am doing now because of my perspective on “tradition.” My aesthetic can be described as “elegant and traditional… but a little to the ‘left.’ ” I love taking classic silhouettes or imagery and twisting them until they are something new and innovative. I have dedicated much of my life to the artistry in the humanities by being a visual artist, a speaker, and a philosopher… even a singer every now and again. I love working on teams with creative people that contribute to the new visual culture. I am thoughtful yet action-oriented; and, with these two traits interacting my work-ethic seamlessly integrates itself in a group environment as well as working independently.
I pride myself on being an artist in every sense of the word. Life and work is all about the creative process and utilizing our internal dialogues to resolve problems in our own specific way. It is in our nature to be artists; and, it is my greatest pleasure to give others the opportunity to be the artist they may never have thought they could be on their own.
